Access Control & Time Attendance Systems in Dubai

Control who goes where, and know who was on site — card, PIN, biometric or mobile credential, with attendance data your HR team can actually use.

Overview

One credential, two problems solved

Access control and time attendance are usually bought separately and then never speak to each other, leaving HR to reconcile spreadsheets by hand. Deployed together on one platform, the same badge that opens the door also records the shift.

COREQ designs door-by-door: which doors need controlling, which need only monitoring, what happens on a fire alarm, and who is allowed to override. That schedule is agreed before any hardware is ordered.

Scope at a glance

  • Door schedule and credential policy design
  • Card, PIN, fingerprint, face and mobile credentials
  • Turnstiles, gate barriers and interlocks
  • Fire alarm interface and safe egress
  • Time attendance with shift and overtime rules
  • Payroll-ready reports and data export

Final scope is confirmed after a site survey and issued in writing before work begins.

What's included

How we deliver Access Control & Attendance

Door hardware done properly

Magnetic locks, electric strikes, drop bolts and break-glass units specified for the door type, with request-to-exit and door-position monitoring.

Modern credentials

Encrypted smart cards, fingerprint, face recognition and mobile credentials — chosen for the environment rather than the brochure.

Attendance that matches your policy

Shifts, grace periods, break deductions, overtime and leave categories configured against your actual HR policy, not a default template.

Life-safety compliance

Access control interfaced to the fire alarm so controlled doors release on evacuation, with the interface tested and documented at handover.

Visitor and contractor handling

Temporary credentials, escort rules and time-bound access for contractors, with a record of who was inside and when.

Reporting and audit trail

Exception reports, late-arrival summaries and a full audit trail of every door event and every administrator change.

Typical deployments

Matched to the size of the problem

We would rather scope you correctly than sell you the largest option. If a smaller package genuinely covers your requirement, that is what we will propose.

Single office

One entrance, server room, and attendance

  • 2–6 controlled doors
  • Reception release button
  • Attendance for up to 100 staff

Multi-floor tenancy

Lift and floor-level segregation

  • Lift destination control
  • Department-level zoning
  • Anti-passback on main entry

Industrial & labour accommodation

High headcount throughput

  • Turnstiles and gate barriers
  • Face recognition for gloved workforces
  • Bulk shift reporting
How we work

A delivery method that removes surprises

Every engagement follows the same six stages. You always know which stage you are in, what has been agreed, and what is outstanding.

  • Discovery & site survey

We visit the site, understand how you actually work, and document the existing environment before proposing anything.

  • Design & proposal

You receive a written scope, a design, a bill of materials and a price — with assumptions and exclusions stated plainly.

  • Delivery & installation

Scheduled work with an agreed programme, minimal disruption to operations, and progress visibility throughout.

  • Testing & commissioning

Every device tested, every interface demonstrated, and defects closed before handover rather than after.

  • Handover & documentation

As-built drawings, device schedules, credentials and O&M documentation handed over in a structured pack.

  • Support & AMC

Ongoing maintenance, monitoring and helpdesk support under an annual contract with defined response targets.

Frequently asked

Questions we are asked most

It depends on the environment. Fingerprint struggles in dusty or gloved settings; face recognition handles those well and is faster at peak throughput. Encrypted cards remain the simplest for large visitor volumes. Many sites use a combination — card at the perimeter, biometric at sensitive rooms.

Yes, and this is non-negotiable. Controlled doors on escape routes are interfaced to the fire alarm so they release on evacuation, and break-glass emergency release units are fitted on the exit side. We test and document the interface at handover.

Yes. We configure the export format your payroll platform expects — CSV, Excel or a direct database view — and agree the field mapping with your HR team during commissioning so the first payroll run works without manual editing.

Usually, yes. We review the existing controller capacity, licence limits and reader compatibility, then tell you plainly whether extending is sound or whether replacing the head end will cost less over the next few years.
