Network Design, Switching & Structured Cabling in Dubai

A network that is documented, segmented and labelled — so the next fault takes minutes to find instead of an afternoon.

Overview

Design first, cable second

Most network problems in UAE offices are not caused by weak hardware. They are caused by flat networks, undocumented patching, guest traffic sharing the corporate VLAN, and access points placed wherever the ceiling grid was convenient.

COREQ starts with a design: IP addressing plan, VLAN structure, wireless heat map, uplink strategy and rack elevation. Only then do we pull cable — and every outlet is labelled to match the patch schedule you receive at handover.

Scope at a glance

  • IP addressing and VLAN segmentation plan
  • Cat6/Cat6A and fibre structured cabling
  • Managed switching with PoE budgeting
  • Enterprise Wi-Fi with predictive coverage design
  • Next-generation firewall and secure remote access
  • Rack build, patch schedule and as-built pack

Final scope is confirmed after a site survey and issued in writing before work begins.

What's included

How we deliver Network & Cabling

Segmentation that contains problems

Separate VLANs for corporate, guest, voice, CCTV and building systems so one compromised device cannot reach everything else.

Wi-Fi designed, not guessed

Predictive coverage modelling, channel and power planning, and a post-installation survey to confirm real-world signal and roaming behaviour.

Firewall and perimeter control

Next-generation firewalls with application control, web filtering, IPS and site-to-site or client VPN for remote users and branches.

Server room and rack build

Rack layout, cable management, power distribution, UPS sizing, environmental monitoring and proper labelling throughout.

Redundancy where it matters

Dual uplinks, link aggregation, spare core capacity and UPS protection sized against your actual load and runtime requirement.

Documentation at handover

Network diagram, IP schedule, VLAN map, patch panel schedule and device credentials handed over in a structured pack — and kept current under AMC.

Scope options

Matched to the size of the problem

We would rather scope you correctly than sell you the largest option. If a smaller package genuinely covers your requirement, that is what we will propose.

New office fit-out

Cabling from shell and core

  • Containment and cable pulling
  • Data outlets and patch panels
  • Rack, switching and Wi-Fi
  • Testing and certification

Network refresh

Replacing ageing infrastructure

  • Current-state audit
  • Phased cut-over plan
  • Switch and firewall replacement
  • Zero-surprise migration window

Multi-site connectivity

Linking branches securely

  • Site-to-site VPN or SD-WAN
  • Central firewall policy
  • Consistent VLAN scheme
  • Remote monitoring
How we work

A delivery method that removes surprises

Every engagement follows the same six stages. You always know which stage you are in, what has been agreed, and what is outstanding.

  • Discovery & site survey

We visit the site, understand how you actually work, and document the existing environment before proposing anything.

  • Design & proposal

You receive a written scope, a design, a bill of materials and a price — with assumptions and exclusions stated plainly.

  • Delivery & installation

Scheduled work with an agreed programme, minimal disruption to operations, and progress visibility throughout.

  • Testing & commissioning

Every device tested, every interface demonstrated, and defects closed before handover rather than after.

  • Handover & documentation

As-built drawings, device schedules, credentials and O&M documentation handed over in a structured pack.

  • Support & AMC

Ongoing maintenance, monitoring and helpdesk support under an annual contract with defined response targets.

Frequently asked

Questions we are asked most

Cat6 is adequate for most office deployments running 1 Gbps to the desk. Cat6A is worth the extra cost where you are running multi-gigabit Wi-Fi access points, longer runs, or where the cabling needs to survive two more hardware generations. We will tell you which applies to your floor plate rather than defaulting to the more expensive option.

Yes. Copper links are tested and the results are handed over as part of the as-built pack. Certification matters because it is the only objective evidence that a link will actually carry the speed it was sold as.

Sometimes. Poor Wi-Fi is often caused by channel overlap, transmit power set too high, or access points mounted in the wrong place — all fixable without new cable. We survey first and tell you honestly whether tuning will be enough or whether additional access points are genuinely needed.

We plan cut-overs outside business hours with a written sequence, a rollback point at each stage, and the old equipment left in place until the new environment is confirmed stable. The change window and the rollback plan are agreed with you before we touch anything.
